AMP Open House and Track Safety Clinic

Ever wanted to get out on the track, but are too nervous or afraid to distress your car? Don’t fret! Come out to the AMP Open House and Track Safety Clinic to get an introduction to everything you need to know in order to be successful at a track day.

 

We will discuss the nuances of being out at the track, including lingo used, what each flag color means, run classes, how to prep, and so much more. The day will be filled with lots of information, some good food, and great company!

 

There will also be on-track rides given, by instructors, to show the various points and best practices. These will be done at reduced speeds to help the students better absorb the information.

Bagdad, AZ Fun Run

Do you love driving, socializing, and great food? Then come join us for a group drive up to Bagdad, Arizona for lunch at Copper Country Bar & Grill.
 
Check-in at 8:30am; Driver’s Meeting at 8:45am:

The group will depart, caravan style, promptly at 9:00am and head up to Bagdad, AZ (via AZ-74 W and AZ-89N) with a stop in Congress, AZ for fuel and restroom break at the Shell station where AZ-71 and AZ-89 meet. There will be a drive leader, as well as a secondary group coordinator, to keep the group together and help ensure safe travels for our members and the general public.

Prescott Fun Run

Do you love driving, socializing, and good food? Then come join us for a group drive up to Prescott and then lunch at Streets of New York Pizza. The restaurant has a large parking lot where we may even be able to get the cars parked together and do a bit of socializing. If you just can’t get enough of the curves, there will also be a group heading back down through Skull Valley to Phoenix.

Copper Corridor Loop Fun Run

Do you love driving, socializing, and great food? Then come join us for a group drive through the Copper Corridor Loop and then a break for lunch at Guayo’s On the Trail Restaurant in Globe, AZ. The restaurant is on the way out of town, toward Show Low. Other attractions include Farley’s Pub, a movie theater, Center for the Arts, and Noels Sweets and Gifts.

Pima Air & Space Museum Tour

Roadrunner BMW CCA will be partnering with our Sonoran Chapter brethren to co-host an event at the Pima Air & Space Museum, including a tour of the facility. After the tour, we will be grabbing a late lunch at Barrio Brewery where we will recap the events and have some good food with good company. Food and snacks are available for purchase at the museum as well.

COST: $20.00 (Cash only – covers tour and general admission)
