Roadrunner BMW Club - Phoenix, AZ

The Roadrunner Chapter serves the Valley of the Sun and most of Arizona (excluding the southeastern portion served in Tucson by the Sonora Chapter). Year-round drivable weather promises many outdoor activities, including our Drivers' Schools and Club Racing events. We offer several of these track events throughout the year. Please take a look at our Calendar of Events for details on these and other automotive activities around the western states. We also have fun with road tours, tech sessions and numerous other activities.

Send Us Your Stuff
Good news! We have an active Newsletter and Web site.  Bad News?  We don't have enough current cool stuff to fill them.

If you have articles or photographs you think would be appropriate for the Newsletter, please submit them to our Newsletter Editor, Tom Barnes at bmw@twistedpriorities.com. If they are not digitized, contact him and we'll see how best to get the information to him.

As you may have noticed, our Web site's Gallery and Past Events sections are a little thin and out of date.  If any of you have digital photographs of your BMW's or recent Club events and/or captions or short explanations of either, please send them to Marty at martysaltzman@gmail.com.

Please make sure you are not sending us the only copy you have of anything.  We cannot guarantee that we can get these things back to you. All submissions will be considered for publication.  This is your best shot at fame (if not fortune), so go ahead and send us what you have.

Chapter News Upcoming Events

2008 Event Planning Underway
We have a date with PIR for an early March event. Given the success of the December 8th School and the December 9th drive (see the Gallery) this one should fill fast. Keep an eye on this page for the details and application form. They should be posted by the end of January.

If you have an idea for a weekend drive, local dinner spot for a meeting, just about anything that includes cars and driving pease contact one of the officers on the "Contact Us" page.

BEAT AZ Tour
It's that time of year again. The British Euro Auto Tour is coming up in April. For more information see the article here.

New Features
You might notice on the menu that runs down the left side of this page a couple of new items. We have a nice clean, freshly developed forum for everyone to use to keep up on club business and activities. At the bottom of the menu is a new classified ads feature. Take a look, I think both of these will be useful to the club.

We Still Need Your E-Mail Address!
In an effort to improve communication within the club, we're updating our members' email addresses. If you haven't done so, please send a note to Brett Creaser with your current e-mail address.
